The Return of the Living Dead

• The now-iconic Tarman zombie was designed by makeup effects artist Bill Munns, reworked partway through the six-week shoot by replacement artist Kenny Myers, and physically performed on set by actor/puppeteer Allan Trautman.

With the military moving to nuke the city to contain the infection, the clock ticks down to a finale where survival is impossible and the resulting toxic rain guarantees the hunger never really ends.
