• The film was shot in a gymnasium inside an abandoned school in Hamilton, Ontario that production company Digital Canaries converted into a working studio -- not Montreal, and there's no verified '18-day shoot' figure on record.
• Robert Maillet, who plays hulking killer Mike, wrestled in the WWF from 1997 to 1999 under the ring name 'Kurrgan' as part of The Oddities and The Truth Commission.
• Vicious Fun premiered at Spain's Sitges Film Festival on October 8, 2020, opening the Panorama Fantastic section -- it did not premiere at Fantasia, despite being the type of title that festival usually screens.

Calahan swaps suburban dread for a neon-lit slaughterhouse and forces a reluctant Joel to decide whether faking psycho gets him killed or turns him into the real thing.
