When homeroom teacher Mrs. Park turns up hanged from a tree and, in her last phone call, warns a colleague that a dead student, Jin-ju, is "still alive," new teacher Eun-young starts pulling at a decade-old secret. Jin-ju died years earlier in a storeroom accident — crushed under a falling statue amid scattered sculpting knives — a death the school quietly wrote off as a suicide. Ever since, her spirit has slipped back into the school every few years, posing as a new transfer student, working her way through the faculty who let her die and the classmates who looked away. This isn't a haunted-house story. It's an institution getting exactly what it built.
